Amb. Schommer

Martine Schommer brings together diplomatic, European and international experience.

Her diplomatic career spans over more than 35 years.

Besides positions at the Foreign Ministry of Luxembourg, she served as Ambassador to China, Germany, France and Portugal.

She furthermore held key positions working with the Prime Minister and as Luxembourg’s Ambassador to the European Union.

Over the years, she has distinguished herself through her commitment to international dialogue, development cooperation and multilateral diplomacy.

She is a graduate of INALCO with a degree in Russian and Chinese languages and civilisations.
